Description

Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a Bench Hand who can deburr. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Polish cavities to high finishes. * Draw polishing ribs. * Basic disassemble and assemble of molds. * Contour ejector pins. * Spot hand loaded loose pieces and parting line. * Spot cores, cavities, slides and lifters. * Bench and polish to A-2 finish. * Provide an efficient lineup for the next shift. * Maintain and repair molds. * Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices. Qualifications * Knowledge to use benching power tools (grinders, profilers, etc.). * Knowledge to identify part from shut off as well as master shut off areas. * Knowledge of the different steels of trade and the polishing traits. * Knowledge of the different stones, papers, polishing compounds and their use. * Knowledge of the SP finishes of the trade. * Ability to use measuring equipment to verify dimensions (micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, dial indicators, etc.). * Good comprehension of mold design required. * Must have good interpersonal skills, intermediate computer skills, ability to multitask, and good written and verbal communication skills.
