Job Description Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as: Benchmarking and Operational Analysis Manager Type of Employment: Permanent Location: Riga, Latvia Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) THE ROLE The successful candidate will contribute to process improvements and cost reduction by providing support to Senior Directors in Benchmarking and Cost Optimization. Through both multi-disciplinary and collaborative benchmarking initiatives, as well as program tracking, the incumbent will support effective and informative presentations that will facilitate the decision-making process. WHAT YOU’LL DO Collect, validate, and analyze costs and procedures for a variety of functions within the organization Ability to work conscientiously on confidential projects related to sensitive topics, which often challenge existing structures and processes and require organizational changes Creation of a knowledge sharing environment, collaborating effectively with a multitude of services, but also with a diversity of personalities Simultaneous support for multiple projects involving different teams and leaders Tracking of improvement initiatives, ensuring that objectives are achieved according to plans and that stakeholder expectations are met, validating and tracking business cases Identify relevant future initiatives, keep up-to-date with the different projects and organizational goals, and stay abreast of trends and best practices in the industry Benchmarking and looking for new cost optimization and innovative improvement opportunities Logging workflows, procedures, checklists, and policies related to different tasks assigned Other types of operational analysis, as needed. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Education: Bachelor's degree in a field related to business administration, or relevant experience; Experiences: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position; Experience in retail environment an asset; Prior consulting experience an asset; Knowledge and skills: Proven knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting, corporate finance and analytics of information; Strong technical skills in data gathering and analysis, using consolidating systems, BI and ERPs; A keen business sense and a strong analytical mind; Exceptional organizational ability to synthesize large amounts of data, manage project planning and produce project reports; Demonstrated ability to work in a team and in collaboration with other stakeholders; Proven ability to communicate effectively with high level of tact (French and English); Experience with ERP’s and consolidation systems such as Longview or Hyperion; Advanced skills using Excel; Power-BI knowledge ; Good knowledge of project management and PMI framework.
