The Service Technician at BENCO Equipment is responsible for the installation, diagnosis and repair of shop equipment while delivering top notch service to the customer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Install, diagnose and automotive repair shop equipment
· Follow logical steps to troubleshoot the cause of problems with equipment
· Run equipment tests and make adjustments as required
· Prepare equipment for delivery by inspecting and operating machines prior to delivery as able
· Keep up to date and continuing education on new technologies as required
· Accurately report service work performed in a timely manner
· Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
Experience and Qualifications:
· High school diploma or (GED) equivalent; Associates Degree or Technical school certificate a plus
· Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems.
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and components in the field using problem solving
· Ability to understand the customer’s expectations and work to exceed them
· Willingness and ability to comply with company safety requirements and maintain safe working habits
· Ability to lift 25/50 pounds as needed.
· Local travel to job sites.
