JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, including roll forming and press brake machines. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including CNC programming experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Experience with welding techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD designs accurately.
  • Competence in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic math skills for calculations.
  • Prior warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics within the manufacturing process.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor press brake machine to produce high-quality components.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure precise machining specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assemble components as needed, following established procedures for accuracy.
  • Package finished products for shipment while adhering to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • May have to operate other roll forming machines as well when in required.
