Description Varney Benefits Advisors is hiring a Benefit Account Manager to manage client relationships and employee benefit programs. ? This role involves preparing proposals, reviewing contracts, resolving claims, conducting presentations, and ensuring compliance with regulations like ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary client contact for benefits management. ? Prepare proposals, review contracts, and resolve claims. Conduct open enrollment meetings and benefit presentations. ? Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations. ? Build relationships with carriers, vendors, and stakeholders. ? Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and benefits administration experience preferred Active Maine Life and Health License and valid Maine Driver’s License. ? Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. ? Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employee benefits coverage. ? Working Conditions: ? Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods. ? Travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays. ?
