BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits/leave administration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits reporting and benefits compliance
  • Strong knowledge of employment and leave law and understanding of Human Resources and industry related compliance requirements

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Benefits Administrator is a key member of the Total Rewards and HR team. Reporting into the Head of Total Rewards, you will oversee fully insured plans and leave of absence process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage full leave of absence process: policy communication, planning and documentation, payroll processing and re-entry.
  • Oversee the administration of fully insured plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, flexible spending plans, life insurance.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, QLE, termination changes, beneficiaries, EOI etc.
  • Participates and supports in annual open enrollment, including coordination of in-person and virtual fairs and other benefit-related projects and activities as assigned.
  • Reviews benefits guide and other communication, make appropriate updates when needed.
  • Serve as champion for compliance; acts as main point of contact for any internal and external audits regarding benefits processes; ensures local, state and federal government compliance and reporting requirements are met.
  • Review/reconcile invoices from all vendors and work with billing for processing. Audit FSA/HSA/DFSA plans.
  • Support employee onboarding by providing overview of our benefits to new hires
  • Identify and implement process improvements opportunities whenever possible
