Description

Assist in the daily administration of the Human Resources Department, with a primary focus on managing and processing Care Member Benefits and leave administration. Ensure accurate and timely handling of benefit related inquiries, billing reconciliations, leave tracking, and communication with internal and external vendors.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Benefits Administratio

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the coordination and timely processing of all employee benefits billing including but not limited to health, life, disability, voluntary and supplemental insurance plans, retirement/403b, unemployment, gym membership, flexible spending, commuter, tuition reimbursement.
  • Provide information to Vice President of HR, Accounts Payable, and various benefit carriers/vendors regarding employee (Care Member) benefits as it relates to billing.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the HR Team to solve problems as it relates to employee (Care Member) benefits, payroll deductions, and billing.
  • Process bi-weekly and monthly uploads into vendor portals including but not limited to commuter transit account and retirement plans.
  • Act as liaison, as needed, between Care Member and benefit carrier/vendor to solve issues pertaining to their benefits and escalate when needed.
  • Accurately process all bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly benefits billing for both union and non-union Care Member benefits.
  • Assist in the coordination of annual benefits open enrollment as well as other benefit related events/orientation throughout the year as needed.
  • Oversees leave tracking, approvals, and documentation while serving as a key point of contact for employees and management regarding leave inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for benefits and leave administration.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Benefits Administration

Education:

  • Associate’s degree

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 per year
