Your Impact This lead role supports the HR team by coordinating core HR Benefits tasks, employee benefits processes, wellness programming, and culture initiatives. This role blends employee support, administrative accuracy, event coordination, internal communication, and office operations. What You’ll Do Lead benefits onboarding including new hire enrollments and welcoming new hires on their first day Assist with the annual open enrollment and mid-year benefit changes Administer leave of absence requests, maintaining up-to-date documentation and escalating to the Benefits Manager when necessary Oversee COBRA processing ensuring the timely distribution of paperwork and enrollments Manage the payment and processing of insurance carrier invoices and administrative fees Manage reimbursements for wellness budget expenses and maintain wellness expense spreadsheet for tracking purposes Collaborate with the Benefits Manager on quarterly wellness initiatives Support the Benefits Manager with the facilitation of wellness committee meetings and coordination between the wellness ambassadors Lead the creation of the monthly wellness newsletters and wellness Teams Channel announcements Create Standard Operating Procedures for any needed processes within the Benefits Department Resolve email and in-person employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate HR team member, when necessary Create a positive, engaging and functional office environment by managing daily operations including ordering supplies, maintaining vendor partnerships, and providing a welcoming visitor experience Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages and handle outgoing correspondence.
