Description Job Description Statement: The HR Coordinator supports the HR team by administering team member benefits and assisting with HR compliance throughout the pre-hire onboarding process and coordinating credentialing and client hospital onboarding requirements for new hires. This role ensures smooth, well-organized onboarding experience and is well-suited for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and eager to learn. The HR Coordinator contributes to essential HR functions, including benefits support and new hire credentialing, while helping create a positive and reliable experience for every team member. Essential Job Duties: Assist with administering team member benefits by keeping records up to date and helping team members understand basic plan options and enrollment steps. Support new-hire benefits onboarding and help with annual open enrollment by distributing materials and processing simple changes. Help review monthly insurance invoices, flag discrepancies, and assist with preparing basic reports. Support HR compliance by helping update information in the HRIS benefits module and following company policies and guidelines. Serve as a helpful point of contact for team members with general benefits or HR questions. Support HR compliance by credentialing new hires by collecting required documents, checking that hospital or client requirements are met, and ensuring onboarding steps are completed on time. Keep credentialing files organized and communicate with the HR Leaders, hiring managers, new hires, and client sites to support a smooth onboarding experience. Support the full pre-onboarding compliance process, including background checks and required documentation, ensuring all reviews meet policy, regulatory, and fair-hiring standards and are fully documented in compliance files. Partner with HR leaders and hiring managers to ensure candidates are fully cleared before onboarding, proactively resolving any delays or compliance issues related to screenings or required documentation. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Role Competencies: Strong attention to detail and administrative & documentation skills. Experience and Education Requirements: Preferred Experience 1–2 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, credentialing, or HR compliance preferred. Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is helpful. Familiarity with HRIS systems, document management, or onboarding processes is a plus. Strong customer-service skills and comfort communicating with team members, vendors, and partners preferred. Education (or equivalent experience) Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required, especially for candidates with relevant experience.
