POSITION SUMMARY
Assist Human Resources management in the administration and management of the university employee benefit programs.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of human resources experience or completion of some college coursework with at least four years of human resources experience.
Strong decision making, analytical and problem solving skills required. High level of accuracy, attention to detail and numerical aptitude.

Administer university FMLA, PLOA and any other leaves - Administration of form distribution, review of forms received, form processing, records maintenance, and notification generation. Prepare appropriate forms for approval (or not) as applicable. Meet on a regular basis with Payroll staff to review faculty and staff leaves regarding leave specifics to ensure pay is accurate and correct. Keep managers informed of approved dates and work restrictions if applicable.
Assist all employees daily, via telephone, virtual appointments, e-mail, and walk-ins.
