Currently we have a Benefits & HR Assistant position open. This position assists the Benefits/Payroll office with daily administration of employee benefits as well as general support to the HR department.

Essential functions of the position include:

• Inform new employees of available benefits. Review employee benefit enrollments for completeness.
• Enter and maintain timely, accurate data in HRIS and with benefit carriers.
• Maintain accurate and orderly employee files.
• Assist in preparing and distributing various employee communications for benefits or other purposes as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of benefit plan invoicing and payments collected. Prepare invoices for payment.
• Transmit routine 401(k), HSA, FSA, etc. data with record keeper/administrator.
• Assist with preparing data for audits.
• Assist bereaved with claiming death benefits.
• Assist HR with employee data entry and related clerical duties.
• Assist HR Director and staff with employee events, record keeping, etc.

General qualifications for this role:

• High School or GED. College degree preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in benefits work preferred.
