We are seeking a Benefits & Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, a sense of accountability, and the ability to manage responsibilities effectively within a fast-paced environment. Job Descriptions: Administer group health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) plans. Serve as the point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits and claims. Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in HR systems. Partner with Insurance Broker, CIGNA, Mutual of Omaha and Fidelity to ensure accurate plan administration and resolve issues. Coordinate and support the open enrollment process. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA. Maintain accurate records and perform regular audits of benefits data. Assist with benefits-related onboarding and offboarding activities. Support the HR team with benefits reporting and invoice reconciliation. Acts as a back-up to the Payroll Manager, runs reports, updates data, liaises with ADP and answers employee questions. Runs Payroll as needed when Payroll Manager is out of office. Degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration 2–4 years of payroll experience Hands-on experience with vendor & relationship maintenance is required Knowledge of relevant benefits laws and regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA) Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with HRIS platforms preferred (ADP is a plus) High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Acts with discernment in all areas and collaborates well with the HR Team 401(k) matching 10 paid holidays Excellent bank of PTO Generous sick days policy Biweekly pay Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance coverage 1X Salary Strong leadership and a supportive company culture that values growth and collaboration!
