Job Purpose ADA/LOA/DS Analyst is a trusted partner, providing guidance and support to associates and internal stakeholders by promoting a positive, transparent, and collaborative working relationship. The position will serve as one of the primary reasonable accommodation subject matter experts and a central point of contact to coordinate and resolve related issues of reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA). The ADA/LOA/DS Analyst is responsible for evaluating and deciding reasonable accommodation requests on Honda’s behalf. Key Accountabilities Analyze and investigate associate accommodation requests. Interpret company policies and evaluate legal guidelines to make sound decisions on accommodation requests that may impact the associate’s employment with Honda Analyze and interpret medical records, functional capacity and fit for duty evaluations, and job descriptions to determine whether an accommodation request is reasonable in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Collaborates with business partners such as Legal, Associate Relations, Medical, Safety, Talent, and other key stakeholders to determine the associate’s employment status Maintains knowledge and enforces various legal and employment regulations, including but not limited to, ADA, EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, workers’ compensation, and various statutory leave of absence laws Qualifications, Experience, and Skills 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or from education to obtain a license in healthcare, or an equivalent field of study Minimum 3-5 years Human Resources Experience, 1-2 years’ experience managing ADA program or Licensed RN/LPN, or business role experience in a Medical Clinic or Healthcare provider’s offic Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, potentially high-pressure environment, while effectively collaborating with individuals of varied personalities and work styles Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to successfully interface at all organizational levels Intermediate conflict management & problem-solving skills Experience with data analysis and reporting Working Conditions Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently Must be able to work on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful and involve individuals with diverse personalities or workstyles Must have mental clarity to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on cases simultaneously, and adapt to interruptions Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, type for a continuous periods of time, and orally communicate for extended periods of time Ability to travel up to 10% within the United States What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
