POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a knowledgeable, proactive, and customer focused Benefits Specialist to serve as the primary subject matter expert on employee benefits in our North American operations. This role is critical in ensuring our workforce receives exceptional support and guidance on all benefit-related matters. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to HR and employees, driving excellence in benefits administration, compliance, and employee experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

. Bachelor’s degree required, CEBS certification preferred.
. 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration or employee benefits; claims processing experience is a plus.
. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA,).
. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with ADP Enterprise a plus.
This is a hybrid role located in our corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

. Serve as the central resource for employee and HR inquiries related to benefits, providing expert guidance and resolution.
. Administer and manage employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, pension, and wellness initiatives.
. Coordinate with third-party vendors and carriers to ensure seamless processing of Short-Term Disability and Family Medical Leave claims and other benefit-related transactions.
. Maintain accurate and timely data across our HRIS systems, carrier platforms, and employee files.
. Oversee COBRA and HIPAA compliance for all active and terminated employees.
. Manage monthly premium calculations and invoice reconciliation for group insurance plans.
. Maintain and update the Benefits Intranet site with current policies, forms, and resources.
. Support benefit-related communications and education efforts to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
. Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate benefits integration and reporting.
. Continuously monitor and apply federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits.
