We’re excited to share that DGC is currently completing the DBCT Berth Upgrade 1 works in Mackay, QLD. This significant project commenced in early 2025 and will run for a total duration of two years.

PROJECT SCOPE INCLUDES:

• Marine Piling Works
• Strengthening of the Berth 1 Structure to facilitate new Ship Loader 1A
• Extension and stiffening of rail girders including new rail placement
• Structural remediation of Berth 1 structure
• Concrete Remediation of Berth 1 structure
• Coating remediation of Berth 1 structure
• Pile wrapping works
• Preparing Ship loader 1 for removal from berth
• Placement of new Ship loader 1A
• Offsite fabrication and coating of over 300 Tonnes of structure
