Description General Position Summary: Provides Spectacular Customer Service, while primarily operating the golf course’s beverage cart. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Works collaboratively with F&B Team members to provide service to guests Completes accurate cash handling transactions and follows cash handling policies and procedures Prepares beverage cart at the commencement/conclusion of shift by loading and unloading products Tracks inventory in a method consistent with training Understands and exercises professional judgment relative to alcohol service Follows Wing Point's policies and procedures and health and safety standards Strives to uphold and promote service standards and greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner Possesses a working knowledge of beverage selections and is able to make recommendations to guests Adheres to all required alcohol service regulations and follows the training for intervention procedures consistently Adheres to dress code standards set by Wing Point Secondary Functions: Conveys pertinent information to the Pro Shop relative to concerns or potential issues on the course as observed during beverage cart service May assist with special events as necessary relative to food & beverage needs Other duties as assigned by management Specific Job Skills: Organized and able to carry out tasks at the direction of the supervisor Has a working knowledge of food handling and follows health and safety standards Ability to communicate professionally with both guests and employees Able to work well with others in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect Education and/or Experience: Requirements High School Diploma or GED, preferred. One year of food handling experience necessary. Food Handler’s card required within 30 days of employment. Must successfully obtain a TIPS card and Class 12 Mixologist certification within 60 days of employment. Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid WA State Driver’s License with a favorable driving record. Job Conditions: Working conditions include working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, rain and cold. Working conditions may also include working in the dining room during busy times of the day and night, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evening, weekends and holiday. Physical Requirements: Has the ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have manual and finger dexterity for handling serving dishes, and other equipment.
Responsibilities
The beverage cart server provides spectacular customer service by operating the golf course beverage cart and assisting the food and beverage team. Responsibilities include accurate cash handling, inventory tracking, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations and safety standards.
