We’re looking for a Concessions Supervisor who will assist in the management of the quick service food outlets, including those associated with our racing program.  Want a front row seat to all the excitement? Here’s what you’ll be responsible for: * Supervise and coordinate daily duties of staff in The Paddock, Prairie Coffee Company, Hotel Café, Meadows Market, and concession stands associated with the live racing program, with focus on food and beverage quality and service. * Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and issuing discipline as needed and ensure staffing levels are adequate and meet budget requirements.  * Assist with inventory processes by ordering products and supplies, ensuring accuracy of deliveries and verifying inventory counts at the end of each month.  * Engage with the operations floor during service by checking in with guests, monitoring food quality and presentation, and handling complaints and requests by guests in a timely manner. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of one year of food service experience required, and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferred. Excellent math, counting, and supervisory skills needed. Must have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate and interact verbally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds. Must have knowledge of liquor handling laws pertaining to distribution, security, and management of minor employees. Must possess knowledge of Iowa Department of Health laws and regulations. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push carts up to 150 lbs. Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of various food and beverage outlets to ensure high quality service and product standards. Manage staff through hiring, training, and coaching while overseeing inventory and supply ordering.
