*** THIS POSITION IS TENTATIVELY SET TO START ON AUGUST 31, 2026 *** POSITION SUMMARY: The Beverage Server is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to Guests on the casino floor, whether purchased or complimentary, which includes taking orders, delivering drinks, and ensuring Guest satisfaction while adhering to alcohol service regulations. This position is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of their assigned area, collecting glassware on the casino floor, and processing payments. The Beverage Server must have a passion for Guest service, providing a friendly and positive attitude, anticipating Guest needs, and ensuring an exceptional Guest experience. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Beverage Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards. * Greet Guests, take drink orders, and deliver beverages efficiently and courteously. * Facilitate food order requests when applicable. * Ensure Guest satisfaction through friendly and professional service, addressing and resolving Guest complaints in a timely manner, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. * Build relationships with players and Guests, understand their needs and provide excellent Guest service. * Responsible for being knowledgeable about the drink menu, beer options, liquor selections and wines by the glass. This includes all alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. * Attend daily huddles with the beverage team to go over special events, assignments, pertinent info, etc. * Accurately ringing up orders, handling cash and credit card transactions, and balancing cash drawers if applicable. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including responsible beverage service, gaming regulations and company policies. * Upsell by promoting and suggesting drinks to Guests to increase sales. * Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and company policies. * Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other Team Members. * Ensure all Guests consuming alcoholic beverages are of legal drinking age. * Treat everyone with care, dignity, fairness, and respect. * Other job-related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: * Familiarity with different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including mixed drinks and popular brands. * Comprehensive beverage knowledge with some culinary background or experience preferred. * Proficiency in handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing cash drawers. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with Guests, building rapport, and ensuring a positive experience. * The ability to accurately take orders, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness is essential. * Ability to handle multiple orders, track inventory, and manage cash transactions simultaneously. * Ability to handle Guest complaints, resolve issues, and make strong decisions under pressure. * Familiarity with relevant regulations, including Responsible Beverage Service (RBS), gaming regulations, and company policies. * Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays of drinks. * Passion for Guest service and teamwork; creating a positive Guest experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years in a full-service food and beverage Guest facing environment preferred. * Beverage experience in a casino environment preferred. * Current Food Handler certification and RBS certificate required or ability to acquire one (employer will provide upon hire). * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation. * Must be at least 21 years of age. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * All work is performed on site in Madera, CA. * Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions. * Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift. * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. with or without assistance. * Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, graveyard and holidays. WORK CONDITIONS: Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage.
