Job Details Job Location: COMANCHE RED RIVER HOTEL CASINO - DEVOL, OK 73531 Education Level: Not Specified Salary Range: $12.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service SCOPE OF POSITION: The beverage server provides ultimate hospitality for guests in a casino environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are major duties and are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive. Answers beverage questions posed by guests. Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered. Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned. Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner. Accurately records all sales in the POS Ensures the quality and presentation meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest. Ensures cleanliness of beverage area when necessary. Pushes in chairs on the casino floor as well as assists in picking up trash. Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regard to alcohol service. Performs proper table maintenance and buses tables when necessary during peak periods. Stocks beverage station(s) (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.) based on anticipated need guest or venue. Completes all other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by management Maintains a clean and stocked beverage station and completes all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level. Stocks beverage station(s) (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.) based on anticipated need guest or venue. Completes all other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by management. Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service. Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times. Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests. Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: The Beverage Server must present with a professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time and be able to lift, pull or push up to 50 lbs. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud during all hours. The environment is also smoke-filled. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility. Qualifications EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub is preferred. In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred Food Service Job Experience for two (2) years. Must acquire and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Suspicious Activity and other required compliance trainings.
