Job Details:
Job Summary: This position will manage the planning, coordination and delivery of exercise support, whilst representing Cubic to the customer. May manage a team either directly or indirectly
This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned programs, to include: exercise planning, cost management, resource allocation, preparation of equipment, deployment of assets to training areas. Ensures programs are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensures any exercise risks are appropriately managed
  • Maintains records in line with documentation control methods
  • Mentors, trains, and develops staff to ensure high performance. Ensures team has all necessary skills to provide a high level of service
  • Provides technical leadership to the team as well as being an on-site presence for the team
  • Provides exercise reporting for senior management
  • Manages any third-party contractors as required

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
  • Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment or RPL equivalency

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • 7 years relevant experience
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications
