BH Ops Coordinator - Behavioral Health Operations - (250003HY)
Description
Under administrative supervision, the BH Ops Crd is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of federal and state funding agreements, including identifying opportunities, ensuring compliance, coordinating submissions, and overseeing reporting and close-out activities. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Essential Functions

  • Maintaining accurate schedules and lists of contract reporting needs and requirements.
  • Coordinating project deliverables and monitoring contract performance.
  • Ensuring completion and maintenance of onboarding paperwork and other administrative requirements for all staff and providers.
  • Tracking and managing contract budgets, ensuring proper fund usage and reporting.
  • Collaborating with Revenue Cycle Operations teams and practice administrators to create workflows for registration and insurance verification.
  • Performing audits on clinical encounter registration, insurance verifications, and billing processes.
  • Researching and identifying potential funding resources that align with organizational goals/plans.
  • Assessing feasibility and organizational capacity for potential contracts and grants.
  • Supporting the development of contract and/or grant proposals, budgets, and letters of commitment.
  • Preparing and submitting financial and narrative reports, including performing data entry for monthly invoicing of contract activities.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with current contract holders, contract and/or grant officers, and potential funding agencies.
  • Developing and ensuring submission of all contract close-out requirements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business Administration OR Healthcare Administration OR related field
Minimum 3 years of related professional experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel for data analysis and reporting
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the institution.
Knowledge of budget implementation, financial reporting, control methods, and/or policies.
Experience with managing contracts/grants and ensuring contract compliance
Experience with project support, monitoring, and evaluation
