Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Home Organization Nurse Care Manager (BHHO NCM) carries out medical functions to all clients receiving services from the BHHO team. Medical functions include basic psychiatric health assessments, treatment, monitor medications, education, and coordination of health care provided to clients in the community. The BHHO NCM will also be responsible for assuming lead role in developing and directing rehabilitation services to a designated caseload of clients. These responsibilities include ensuring face-to-face contact is completed to ensure safety and quality treatment is being provided according to all regulations and laws pertaining to licensure in Maine with the State Board of Nursing, codes of ethics, MaineCare rules and regulations, HIPAA, and Agency policies and procedures and is within scope of practice and the client’s plan of care.
