JOB SUMMARY (overview of job): Under the supervision and/or direction of the Staff Nurse or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care consistent with the treatment plan. Additionally, he/she is responsible for concise documentation for an assigned group of patients. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of nursing experience. EDUCATION: Licensed as LPN under the State of Montana. Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities through ongoing education. Completes all mandatory review/education as required and assigned. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current Montana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. BLS required. Aptitudes: Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers. Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations. Open to feedback and open to a changing environment, which requires flexibility in scheduling and department assignments.
Responsibilities
