As a BI analyst, you will provide insight into administrative management information for DIZ by developing and managing reports and dashboards. You will create part of this within the Metis data warehouse (MET Informatie Sturen), where information regarding detainees, cell capacity, security, personnel, and finances, among other things, comes together. However, part of your work will also involve temporary solutions, such as PowerQuery in Excel, as we are in a transitional phase between various source systems and working towards central DJI tooling.

• From the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA) department, you will support DIZ in their reporting needs, maintaining close contact with Team Metis, data analysts, and data stewards. Additionally, you will have frequent contact with the DIZ business analyst, among others, to ensure you align well with the needs of that directorate. Due to the close collaboration with the two Directorates, your work falls within ongoing processes. In this way, we facilitate (management) information in a sustainable manner for the adult prison system, juveniles, and international sentence transfers.
