SUMMARY

As a Data Analyst reporting to the Data Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Calderys’ Data Governance projects. You will combine technical expertise in data analysis with the ability to drive change and engage business teams to ensure data quality, enhance data systems, and optimize our data landscape through tools like Master Data Management (MDM), Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Warehousing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years in data analysis with a focus on supporting data governance, quality assurance, or related initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work across business teams to drive alignment and change.
  • Experience with data management, BI, or Data Warehousing projects.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools such as MDM
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or similar languages
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive mindset for resolving data quality challenges.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a global and culturally diverse organization.
  • Conversant in French or another European language
  • Familiarity with ERP & CRM systems
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on the design, deployment, and management of data governance tools, including BI systems and data warehouses.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, querying data and creating BI dashboards to support business needs and governance initiatives.
  • Partner with business teams to ensure data quality standards are met, identifying and resolving data issues proactively.
  • Drive cross-departmental change management efforts to align teams with data governance best practices.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure consistent and accurate data across systems.
  • Develop intuitive visualizations and reports that communicate data quality and governance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Support the Data Governance Lead in creating and refining data governance policies, frameworks, and processes.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of analytics solutions, enhancing data governance visibility and impact.
