As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled IT-focused Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our Finance Division’s Reporting Team and turn data into insights that drive strategic and commercial decisions.

ABOUT YOU

We’re seeking a technically strong and experienced BI Developer with a passion for transforming data into insights. You will ideally have:

  • A background in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and a relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with Power BI, including report and data model development.
  • Strong SQL programming skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exposure to tools and technologies such as DBT, MS Azure, Python, Fivetran, Azure DevOps, is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise work effectively.
Responsibilities

As a BI Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models, ensuring stakeholders have accurate and actionable insights.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models based on business requirements.
  • Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and data warehousing.
  • Build robust business logic, support testing and deployment, and follow BI development best practices.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through structured ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and end-users to deliver actionable insights.
  • Monitor and optimise performance across BI solutions and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BI development practices and share knowledge across teams.
  • Support data governance, privacy, and security compliance.
