KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, business analytics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or related field
  • Experience in consumer goods, e-commerce, or related industries is preferred.
  • Expertise in designing intuitive, insight-driven dashboards with a strong focus on user experience.
  • Expertise in data warehouse design, development methodologies, and best practices, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization to support scalable analytics and reporting.
  • Advanced experience developing and managing ETL pipelines using Informatica IICS or SSIS, with a strong understanding of data transformation, reconciliation, and integration processes to ensure accurate, well-structured data for analytics.
  • Advanced experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online, including dashboard development, administration, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced SQL skills (T-SQL, NoSQL) (interpret database design, querying, performance management, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS Redshift, MSSQL, AuroraDB, S3, and RDS.
  • Experience with Python or R for analytics and automation.
  • Skilled in gathering and documenting business needs, translating them into user stories, and refining them into technical requirements for development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance reporting to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a global organization, collaborating with offshore development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain visualizations and storyboards through Tableau
  • Curate and maintain data and data pipelines to support reporting
  • Develop ad hoc extract requests using SQL
  • Use best practices to leverage, when enabling and maintaining Tableau
  • Assist the Insights Center Manager to maintain Data Access Control and Change Management model in Tableau
  • Work with the Data Governance Team to ensure that the Data Dictionary and Lineage maintained by them are accurate for Tableau
  • Be active in communications with business users and data management resources to collaborate through a project lifecycle as data changes occur
  • Coordinate with offshore technical resources
