Wise Publishing is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled and innovative BI Engineer to join our team. If you’re passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.
As a BI Engineer, you will design and maintain robust data pipelines, develop insightful dashboards and reports, and implement scalable business intelligence solutions that align with organizational goals. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, your work will ensure data integrity and empower stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions that fuel the success of Moneywise.com and Money.ca.
Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Create and manage efficient ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources.
- Optimize Data Performance: Design scalable Snowflake data models to ensure fast query performance and efficient storage.
- Interactive Dashboards: Build and enhance actionable dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Integration: Manage integrations with external APIs and third-party data sources.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to establishing BI best practices.
- Support Advanced Analytics: Provide clean datasets for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
