Job Title – BI Reporting Analyst
Reports to – BI Manager
Location – Dundalk HQ (Hybrid) | UK Remote | Gibraltar (Hybird)
The Role:
As a BI Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of insights, dashboards, analytical tools, and presentations to key stake holders, with a particular focus on the Digital business and across the full suite of digital products.
You will become an expert in the company’s chosen reporting, analytics, and data visualisation tools, whilst providing an excellent service to the Digital business teams who are based in Gibraltar.
The role will include delivery of BI reporting and analytical services including change requests to existing reporting solutions, ad-hoc requests for information (RFI) and some business-as-usual (BAU) activities. It will also require candidates to engage with stakeholders to understand and clarify business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
Reporting to the BI Manager - you are expected to proactively work with the rest of the BI team to support and enable them to meet their KPIs and other deliverables.
We are interested in candidates with 2+ years experience as per the below spec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing performance across multiple products and regions to identify trends in performance, opportunities for improvement and areas of risk to the business.
  • Providing analysis and insights on the business promotions carried out weekly, monthly etc. including recommendations to change campaigns, commercial impact of certain actions, and overall promotion effectiveness measured against key KPIs.
  • Develop appropriate reporting solutions using Tableau and other reporting / visualisation tools in line with requirements as provided by key stakeholders, and ensure they are being used successfully across all levels including up to the Senior Leadership team;
  • Actively supporting the Customer Acquisiton and CRM activities that impact the Digital business with regualr reporting, ad-hoc analysis and data requests as required.
  • Regular review of existing automated reporting suite to ensure they provide continuing relevance to the business and data consistency and standards are maintained.
  • Work with the BI data engineering team and IT to operationalise and fully automate accepted pieces of analysis where these are to be repeated weekly or periodically.
  • Work with your gaming business partners and/or Heads of Function in regular forums to ensure their analytical needs, ad-hoc requests and change items are being delivered successfully.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • BSc (or equivalent) in the field of Business / IT / Mathematics, or a related subject;
  • Knowledge and experience with a modern Data Visualisation tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense or similar)
  • At least 2 years experience working with large datasets in an SQL based language;
  • Strong ability to interpret data and drive business conclusions;

Competencies and Skills:

  • Inquisitive mindset with a proven ability at problem solving with an analytical approach, but also with an understanding of key challenges in delivering any reporting solution;
  • Self-motivated with a clear ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment;
  • Ability to operate within an agile delivery environment, and re-act quickly to changing priorities;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management;

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with site and click stream analytics with billions of data records;
  • A good knowledge of online gaming, sport or sports betting;
  • Experience working with a modelling / coding language (e.g. R/Python or similar)
