Medison is operating and scaling a global ecosystem of Planning and BI platforms that support critical financial and business decisions across regions. We are looking for a hands-on BI & Planning Systems Specialist with strong ownership mindset to ensure these platforms remain stable, scalable, and business-aligned over time. This role owns the day-to-day operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of Medison’s Planning and BI systems. It combines hands-on system work, cross-regional coordination, and close partnership with Finance and business stakeholders. The role reports into the Data & BI organization and serves as a global coordinating owner across regions. At Medison, this role goes beyond system support. You will ensure that Planning and BI platforms are trusted, scalable, and consistently used across regions. Your work will directly impact forecast accuracy, decision-making quality, and the organization’s ability to operate as one global company. This role reports directly into the Data & BI organization, with no formal reporting line to Finance. Responsibilities System Landscape & Scope Owns and operates enterprise Planning Systems (Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics, Jedox) Owns BI consumption platforms (QlikSense) Partners with the Data team, which owns data engineering, DWH development, and core integrations Planning Systems (Primary / Solid Ownership) End‑to‑end operational ownership of planning platforms Ongoing model maintenance, enhancements, validation, and performance optimization Drives continuous improvement of planning processes in collaboration with Finance, FP&A, Planning, and Commercial teams Ensures system reliability, scalability, and business adoption BI Platforms (Dotted / Shared Ownership) Owns definition and requirements for BI consumption layers, dashboards, and KPIs Ensures consistency, usability, and standardized BI experiences across regions Collaborates closely with Data Engineering on semantic layers and analytical models Acts as the business-facing owner for BI usage and adoption Global Coordination & Enablement (Dotted / Influencing Role) Acts as global coordinating owner across regions and business units Aligns standards, priorities, and execution between global and local teams Drives user enablement including access management, training, and documentation Serves as the primary point of escalation for system-related operational topics Requirements 3–5 years of experience working with both Planning and BI systems in a global environment Hands-on experience with Anaplan/ IBM Planning Analytics/ Jedox, and BI tools Strong analytical and systems thinking with a service-oriented mindset Strong English – written and verbal Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field Strong project coordination skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach. Hands-on experience with Monday.com – advantage. Strong financial background - Advantage · Familiarity with business intelligence systems and user access management – advantage.
