REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic with strong diagnostic and repair skills (e-bikes and/or e-mopeds a bonus).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A valid driving licence and a clean driving record (may be required).
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Knowledge of workshop safety procedures.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you a skilled mechanic with a knack for customer interaction? As a customer facing Repair Mechanic in Edinburgh, you’ll be the face of our workshop, providing expert repair services to our valued courier riders. You’ll manage appointments, handle walk-in repairs, and may occasionally provide roadside assistance. If you combine exceptional mechanical skills with outstanding customer service abilities and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real impact. We have multiple roles for both Junior & Senior Mechanics!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service & Workshop Operations:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer repair and maintenance requests, providing friendly and efficient service.
  • Manage the daily appointment calendar, scheduling repairs and communicating effectively with customers.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of e-bike and e-moped issues, providing clear explanations and solutions to customers.
  • Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
  • Process repair invoices and handle customer queries professionally.May be required to attend to occasional roadside assistance requests.
