Description

Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Bid Assistant for one of our clients in the construction industry.
As the Bid Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Bid Manager and wider Pre-Construction team in the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bid proposals. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the company’s business development success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), tenders, and framework applications.
  • Collate, format, and proofread bid content, ensuring documents are professional, accurate, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., estimating, design, health & safety) to gather necessary input for bids.
  • Maintain and update a bid library of standard responses, case studies, and project information.
  • Monitor tender portals for new opportunities and keep submission trackers up to date.
  • Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and feedback collation.
  • Assist with bid presentations and supporting materials as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or built environment sector is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
