At Food Sales East (FSE), we represent leading foodservice manufacturers and help them grow through meaningful operator, distributor, and account relationships. We’re seeking a Bid Coordinator to support our cruise line and K-12 bid activity. This is a remote role. Candidates must be located in the Southeast U.S. and within the Eastern Time Zone to align with our footprint and allow for occasional in-office collaboration. This position focuses on reviewing bid requests, coordinating pricing with manufacturers, and submitting accurate, timely responses. The role is essential to ensuring our partners stay competitive in both the cruise and education markets.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bid Coordinator plays a central role in managing bid opportunities within cruise lines and K-12, ensuring alignment with manufacturer partners and supporting sales teams to stay competitive. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications & Traits for Success

  • Prior experience in bid coordination, procurement, sales support, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong timemanagement skills, exceptional attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Analytical ability to track bid results and inform pricing strategy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; CRM/database experience a plus.
  • Selfmotivated and adaptable in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
Responsibilities
  • Review bid requests from cruise lines and K12 institutions, confirm product alignment, and prepare accurate documentation for timely submission.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer pricing teams to secure competitive pricing.
  • Track bid outcomes and maintain bid logs to analyze awarded vs. nonawarded items.
  • Partner with sales reps to ensure alignment on bid strategies and opportunities.
  • Identify items not currently on bid and recommend for inclusion in future submissions.
  • Provide reporting on bid activity and outcomes to sales leadership.
