BID EXECUTIVE - MATERNITY COVER

The firm has been the fastest growing law firm in Ireland over the last decade. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Charities sectors. We wish to recruit an experienced Bid Executive to join our Bid team.
This is a project management role, and you will be involved in every stage of the bid process, working closely with the MHC partners and associates to produce high quality bids and tenders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid professional to develop their career in a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Bid / Tender role
  • Experience with and a strong understanding of the bids process is a requirement
  • A legal services background is considered an advantage
  • Advanced Word skills are a requirement
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reviewing eTender notifications.
  • Recognising potential opportunities and summarising same for partners.
  • Managing all aspects of each bid which is assigned to you:
  • Understanding the requirements of the RFT, noting the key dates;
  • Production of first draft of the tender document;
  • Identifying relevant information for inclusion in the draft;
  • Working with the partners and associates to bring the document through to conclusion;
  • Final checks to ensure that all requirements of the RFT are met;
  • Submission of the bids on time and in the manner/format in which they are requested.
  • Keeping up to date records of all bids, historical information, rates, panel appointments, etc.
  • Managing your own workload and keeping on top of all administrative duties and projects which may be assigned to you.
