REQUIREMENTS & YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Degree in business administration, engineering, economics, or comparable qualification (or relevant practical experience).
  • Experience or strong interest in sales support, tendering, or project coordination.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with tendering platforms is a plus.
  • This position combines strategic business development with hands-on bid management, requiring excellent communication, analytical, and customer-facing skills in both German and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support cross-functional departments.
  • Interest in renewable energy, offshore wind, or transmission markets.
  • Willingness to travel domestically – this is a remote role but flexibility to travel to Berlin or Hamburg for meetings are required
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications
Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to join out team in Bid Management, to strengthen our sales and proposal activities in the offshore wind and transmission markets. In this role, you will support the Bid Manager throughout the entire tendering process — from reviewing customer RFIs/RFPs to assisting in the preparation of competitive technical and commercial offers.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and coordinating bid management processes, including pricing, reporting, and tender platform administration.
  • Preparing and presenting offers and pitches to customers, ensuring alignment with strategic sales objectives.
  • Proactive monitoring of international tendering and bid management trends (e.g., tools, processes, platforms).
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, procurement partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Supporting business development through active networking, market analysis, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborating closely with internal sales, bid management, and technical teams to deliver high-quality proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Drafting of SLAs after successful bid submissions.
  • Assistance in negotiations and preparation of offers/BAFO.
