To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated BID Manager who will report to the Head of Sales and Business Development withing our Growth team.
As a BID Manager you will be responsible for leading the bid management process, ensuring the successful submission of high-quality bids and proposals.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Aerospace/Space Engineering, Economics, Business, or Information Technologies or Equivalent Technical Background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in bid management or proposal writing, preferably in Space and Defense area.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Understanding of bid processes and best practices.
  • Space Market Knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software/tools (e.g. MS Office, CRM systems).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and classified information as required by government standards.
  • Cost estimating /awareness.
  • Price awareness.
  • Basis on Finance and Economics.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities:

As a BID Manager you will be responsible for the preparation of relevant bids (in terms of value, complexity and requirements) in compliance with Company Bidding Procedure. You will coordinate and monitor all assigned bids, implementing and achieving the mission and objectives of the Bidding function.

The activities will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to proposal submission.
  • Develop bid strategies and win themes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with members of the bid consortium for their contribution to the proposal.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Prepare and review bid documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements, company standards and governance.
  • Support the competitor analysis and market research to inform bid strategies.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines, ensuring timely submissions of bids.
  • Maintain a repository of bid documents and best practices for future reference.
  • Facilitate post-bid reviews to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance future bidding opportunities.
