As a Bid Manager, your focus will be responsible in shepherding qualified opportunities through the different internal support functions, with a goal of delivering a first-class proposal for customer presentation and deliver best in quality and cost competitive bids to enable achievement of HBS regional sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the performance, planning, resource management and development of solution scope, estimate and proposal for service/project opportunities for defined project value. Provide competitive insight from past opportunities and apply "lessons learned" to the assigned opportunities to generate effective counter strategies. Prepare bid plans, responsibility metric, timelines and co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders in advance to get things done on time. Coordinate activities with other functions within the Sales Support Center and business to achieve overall business results within the assigned opportunities. Manage sales costs for assigned opportunities against projected /estimated budget. Leads bid response, functional system review, competitive comparison and review for accurate estimates and new applications of technology. Evaluate vendor offers and costings to make sure the proposed solution and scope maps with customer requirements. Responsible to initiate and seek internal approvals on time as per the bid timelines. Establish strong working relationships with Sales and Function team members to anticipate barriers and overcome them prior to impacting response timelines with customers Navigate and manage the formal Sales process from opportunity identification through booking on behalf of the Sales professional ensuring all compliance elements, tools, reviews and approvals have been accomplished Focus time on strategy, analytics and targeted customer pursuits with Sales Responsible for the strategy and execution of the response plan/ schedule for assigned opportunities. Knowledge of ELV System such as Building Management, Fire Alarm, Security (CCTV & Access Control), ICT Network, Cyber Security Systems etc., Ability to have techno-commercial interaction and build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
