Are you an experienced Bid Manager or Head of Bids looking for a new opportunity where you can make a real impact?
We’re keen to speak to experienced bid managers who could lead and further enhance our bid process.
You’ll support and develop a talented bid team and work closely with subject matter experts to secure exciting new business opportunities for the agency.
Note: We have a hybrid approach and work in the office 3 days a week, based near the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
The role
As the leader of our bid team, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end bid activities, developing compelling proposals, and collaborating across teams to oversee the bid process.
Your ability to coordinate proposals and understand buyer requirements across private and public sector organisations will help elevate our business development efforts.

Responsibilities

Proposal development

Creating tailored, persuasive, and compelling proposals.

Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather input and insights.

Ensuring proposals align with client needs, objectives, and expectations.

Process management

Overseeing the bid process, from opportunity identification to submission and feedback analysis.

Managing bid timelines, ensuring all milestones are met with high-quality outputs.

Maintaining a library of best practices, templates, and case studies to streamline future bids.

Influencing and leadership

Managing and developing a bid team.

Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams and senior leadership to refine bid strategies and approaches.

Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive and competitive proposals.
