Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bid Manager to support the capture and proposal development of strategic opportunities in the Counter-UAS (CUAS) domain. This role is responsible for translating complex technical solutions into compelling, compliant, and winning proposals, supporting opportunities from capture phase through submission. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with exceptional writing and structuring skills, and thrives in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments. Reporting to the VP CUAS Solutions, this role is critical in increasing win rates and enabling revenue generation across global markets. Core Mission Turn opportunities into winning proposals. Enable the company to win tenders and strategic deals through high-quality, compliant, and persuasive submissions. Key Responsibilities 1. End-to-End Proposal Development Lead and support the development of technical and commercial proposals Own proposal content from: RFI / RFQ / RFP analysis Storyline and structure development Writing, editing, and integration Final submission readiness Ensure proposals are clear, compelling, and aligned with win strategy 2. Technical Content Creation Translate inputs from R&D, Product, and Engineering teams into structured, customer-facing content Clearly articulate: System architecture Operational concepts Technical differentiators Compliance to requirements Develop reusable technical content and proposal libraries 3. Compliance & Quality Management Analyze solicitation requirements and ensure full compliance Manage compliance matrices and track requirement coverage Ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality standards across all submissions 4. Capture & Sales Support Work closely with CUAS Sales Directors and capture leads to: Align proposals with deal strategy and positioning Reflect customer needs and evaluation criteria Support development of: Executive summaries Value propositions Differentiation messaging 5. Proposal Coordination & Execution Coordinate cross-functional inputs from: Sales / BD Product & R&D Operations Legal & Finance Manage timelines, reviews, and internal approvals Ensure on-time, high-quality submissions under tight deadlines 6. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Management Build and maintain a proposal content repository Capture lessons learned from submissions and customer feedback Improve templates, processes, and proposal quality over time Requirements Qualifications & Experience 4+ years of experience in technical writing / proposal management in defense, HLS Proven experience responding to RFPs / RFIs / tenders Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical systems Experience working with engineering and product teams Excellent writing and editing skills in English (native or near-native level) Familiarity with CUAS / ISR / defense systems – strong advantage Advantages: Experience with US DoD / NATO / European tenders Background in systems engineering or technical domain Familiarity with proposal tools (e.g., Shipley, Loopio, etc.)
