We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bid Manager to join the pre-contracts team where you will work on projects within the power and water infrastructure sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively managing and submitting high-quality proposals for our major project utilities tenders. What will a day in this role look like: · Accountability for successfully strategising, bidding and winning new business opportunities in support of the utilities strategic plan. This includes tendering, off-market proposals and expansions including leading the preparation, review and final submission · Collaborating with UGL’s operational and functional teams, and strategically leading a tender team to identify opportunities, lead and manage tender and proposal submissions, and ensure business positioning, governance, win themes, risk management and resource loading is consistent and best in class. · Conduct risk assessment and management activities to evaluate all commercial, financial, legislative and resource risk associated with the tender.
