About the Role As our Bid Manager, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end bid strategy, development and submission for major opportunities within our Fuels & Energy division. You will coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, manage concurrent tenders, and ensure every submission reflects solid commercial governance, risk management, and competitive positioning. Develop winning bid strategies aligned with commercial, technical and client requirements. Review tender documentation to fully understand scope, obligations and risk profile. Coordinate cross‑functional inputs including engineering, commercial, HSE, supply chain and HR. Manage multiple concurrent bids while maintaining quality, accuracy and deadlines. Conduct commercial, legislative, financial and resource risk assessments. Maintain relationships with key customer representatives and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with UGL Bid Governance and internal systems. Drive continuous improvement across bid processes and execution capability. Support seamless handover from bid award to contract initiation. About You 10+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Resources or heavy industrial sectors. Demonstrated success delivering complex and profitable tenders. Experience managing multiple, simultaneous major bids. Strong understanding of construction, maintenance, outage and project environments. Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Marketing or related is desirable . Strong commercial, contractual and financial acumen. Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills. Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
