We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bid Manager to lead RFI/RFQ project activities. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling and submitting comprehensive tender documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with client requirements. Your expertise will be important in creating compelling proposals that align with our strategic goals and support our sales efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in B2B sales, project management, public procurements, and/or bid creation
  • Ability to handle complex technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Fluent written and oral Finnish and English skills
  • Swedish language skill is an advantage

Responsibilities
  • Leading work with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, production units, sourcing, logistics and legal to gather insights and information necessary for compelling bid
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with bids through collaborative team efforts and risk review process
  • Ensuring that pricing, technical solutions, and documentation meet client requirements while aligning with set strategy.
  • Compiling and submitting comprehensive tender documents on relevant platforms in time and ensuring all submissions comply with regulations and company policies.
    Bid Manager is part of our dynamic Tender Support & Pricing team. Our key task is to support sales teams in tenders and project quotes with expertise in pricing, market intelligence, tender management, and documentation. We collaborate closely with project management, sourcing, and production units to drive strategic initiatives and to deliver high-quality proposals. As a hands-on Bid Manager, you take ownership of compiling the bid from start to finish. This role also includes tasks such as creating price estimates in ERP, monitoring and identifying suitable public tenders in target segments from selected platforms, and managing the tender document library. In addition to bid management, you may occasionally be assigned other sales-related tasks to support overall team goals and business development activities.
