Working within the Emplas Sales Department there is an opportunity for a Bid Manager/Writer to join the team and manage / complete successful bids on behalf of Emplas to increase the company’s presence within the public sector, while taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process.
You’ll be responsible for working with the Commercial Sales Manager to identify opportunities to supply window and door products, and with the estimating team to complete bids on time and see them through to handover to operations. This role initially will also require you to write and compose the responses to ITTs & PQQs with a realistic potential to grow and manage a team of bid writers in the future

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven ability in securing high-value product or service opportunities
• Experienced in bid management from identification of opportunity to project delivery
• Good commercial understanding
• Excellent communication skills
• Thorough and strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Competent in the use of a computer and tender portals
