Job Description Job purpose / Objective The purpose of this position is to ensure availability of indirect materials (tools and consumables) in a timely manner. Area : Logistics Planning Key activities : Prepare short term and long term on vendors to ensure business continuity, organize transportation for goods pick up from vendors Decide on mode of transportation based on product category Key Result Areas / Indicators: No production line stoppages due to shortage of materials. Area : Environmental Impacts Key activities : Liaise with Safety and Vendors for transportation and storage of chemicals as per Global Harmonized Symbols (GHS). Adherence to safety standards Key Result Areas / Indicators: Adherence to safety standards Area : Inventory Management Key activities : Execute to meet inventory targets as per defined business requirements Key Result Areas / Indicators: Scrapping due to planning errors Area : Supplier Payments Key activities : Ensure to sustain no financial impact to organisation in the form of advance payments, timely payments etc. Key Result Areas / Indicators: No production line stoppages due to shortage of materials.
