Responsibilities:

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

The Bids and Sales Enablement Manager will hold a Global role and will act as a partner to sales during the development and execution of bids by managing internal processes such as approvals and completion of the proposals. Responses should be written to reflect the employee share plan value proposition in a consistent and engaging manner.
The role holder will also own and lead the maintenance and enhancement of a self-service bid toolkit that will be leveraged by sales and relationship management teams to independently manage their own bids.

SOME OF YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Engages with sales and sales leaders as a trusted advisor in pursuit of key bids
  • Partners closely with the Group Marketing Content and Delivery Senior Manager to leverage tools (Responsive), content and best practices
  • Ensures that the Computershare bid process is followed, to create compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs) within strict timelines
  • Work closely with business development to make sure a target opportunity is fully researched, and maximum insight is shared to inform bid strategy and win themes
  • Write and edit bid response content to ensure questions are responded to clearly and in accordance with the instructions and marking criteria set out in the tender in line with the employee share plans global value proposition.
  • Keep stakeholders updated with progress escalating any issues and risks
  • Maintain high quality standards through detailed proofreading and formatting within Computershare brand guidelines.
  • Work with business development to plan, storyboard and create presentations that position Computershare’s products and services effectively and drive positive outcomes from new business opportunities.
  • Support and advise other team members when required.
  • Contribute and share feedback from win/loss reviews to ensure lessons learned are applied to future bids.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of bid processes, tools, content and documentation.
  • Own and contribute to the content within the self-service bid toolkit.Identify and build collateral required to effectively support the sales process.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

You will bring five to seven years of experience developing winning solution development and/or proposal response and financial analysis. You will have a level of business acumen and an understanding of sales cycle, selling and buying process, and buyer interactions and needs. Additionally, you will have process improvement and negotiation knowledge. Pricing methodologies is a nice to have.
The role holder will demonstrate being a strategic thinker with the ability to predict outcomes and negotiate internally on behalf of sales reps. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across various business functions.

OTHER KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a role
  • Have a high sense of urgency, a strong ethical grounding and will be able to comply with internal and regulatory controls.
  • You will have excellent problem solving and internal negotiations skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
  • Have a consistent focus on quality and accuracy, attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practices and previous experience within a complex environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent application of the English language (spelling, punctuation, and grammar)
  • Confident user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
