BIG BOX REMOVAL ASSOCIATE JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt JOB OVERVIEW: MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Team assists customers with finding their items. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Know how auction items are categorized * Assist customers in finding their items * Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding * Perform other tasks as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager * Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds or more with a team lift * Must be able to follow written directions and company policies * Must be highly organized * Must be detail-oriented * Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent * Must be customer-focused BENEFITS: * Healthcare after 60 days of employment * Weekly paychecks * Employee credit each week to bid on our items after 60 days of employment * 401(k) with employer match after 90 days of employment * Employee Referral Program * 5 days PTO after 90 days of employment MAC.BID is an equal-opportunity workplace.
