Job Details Job Location: Big SNOW - East Rutherford, NJ Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Description About Big SNOW: Big SNOW is the North America’s first and only real snow, indoor, year-round ski and snowboard resort. We share our passion of sliding on snow with our guests. How the Snow Ambassador works with the Team: Introduce skiing or snowboarding to adults and children who are eager to learn the enjoyment of snow sports. Instructors create a fun and safe learning environment ensuring the guest has a memorable experience. Team Member Responsibilities: Teach adults and children, of varying abilities, lessons through our Terrain Based Learning program and Camp BIG kids camp. Helping the guests through learning experience and assisting with any questions. Serves as an ambassador for the facility by being knowledgeable on Big SNOW and products. Assist other trails as needed. Qualifications Must be a proficient skier/snowboarder Must have own equipment and a helmet A passion for the sport and a desire to teach others Must be able to work cold conditions (constant 28 degrees) Must be 16 years of age or older Teaching or coaching experience preferred but not required Good communication skills Can work weekends and/or Holidays/ midweek afternoons Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
