EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries is essential.
  • Experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or non-profit accounting is a plus.
  • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy; familiarity with 10 key typing is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of financial services principles including budgeting, account reconciliation, and account analysis is advantageous.

DUTIES

  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
  • Assist in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support payroll management processes, including data entry and verification of payroll information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry.
  • Provide support for tax preparation and governmental accounting as needed.
