Work Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in Colombia)
Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Colombia Time)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual Assistant Case Manager to manage legal cases under U.S. jurisdiction from Colombia. This role is critical for maintaining effective case management and client communications in both English and Spanish, ensuring legal compliance and supporting client needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Language Proficiency: Complete fluency in both English and Spanish, capable of professional legal communication in both languages.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in legal case management, with a proven track record of handling complex cases efficiently.

  • Advanced Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously without compromising detail or deadlines.
  • Strong Analytical Abilities: Exceptional ability to analyze legal documents and case data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in legal case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Document Drafting and Management: Draft, review, and manage sensitive legal documents and correspondences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth legal research and case-specific analyses, providing actionable insights to enhance case strategy and execution.
  • Client Communication: Facilitate and maintain effective, empathetic, and clear communication channels with clients and other stakeholders to manage expectations and keep all parties informed.
  • Case Coordination: Coordinate case activities, including scheduling, filings, and compliance checks, to ensure seamless progress and adherence to timelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential case issues and collaborate with legal teams to devise effective solutions.
