TFS currently has an exciting 12-month contract opportunity as a Bilingual Assistant Customer Accounts Associate – Total Loss, reporting to the Supervisor of Collections. This role is hybrid out of our Markham head office.

What you will be doing:

  • Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters
  • Complete claim rebates on closed accounts
  • Perform routine follow up on insurance total loss claims or settlements, claims rebates cancellations, and refunds
  • Produce accurate calculations of total loss settlement letters, and remaining balances due or refunds
  • Final closing of Total Loss files to generate refunds and invoices
  • Process incoming paperwork, invoices, receipt of insurance total loss settlement cheques
  • Provide exceptional service and resolve customer inquiries
  • Perform additional department collections duties as required

What you bring:

  • Bilingual – written and oral fluency in English and French is required
  • College or University degree/diploma preferred
  • Excellent communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Previous experience with insurance claims is an asset
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
